Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the key to freedom. If there is something or someone holding you back, perhaps it is time to "FORGIVE" and move on. I know it is easier said then done. I know personally it has been a struggle for me from time to time especially when it comes to my family that I grew up in.

I have a father who was very abusive physically and mentally. It helps me now to talk about it but, I know its hard to forgive when old memories come up from time to time. The sad thing is when you want to change the other person it never works, the person never takes blame or admits to their wrongs.

I have to tell myself to forgive and let go and Let GOD on a constant basis. Like I said it is never easy but, you have to make a effort if you want your life to improve.

When you forgive someone it HELPS YOU and HEALS YOU from the inside out. As hard as it might be to do this you must for your own sake and well being ,life is a process of learning, living and forgiving...... and when things are out of our control we must also learn to "Let Go"

The Magic of Blessing

Today's topic is going to be about "Blessing"

When something or someone in your life is not going the way you want it. For example let's say you have a co-worker, boss, friend or family member that is giving you a hard time. Instead of fighting fire with fire. Silently or out loud bless the person or situation that is causing you trouble.

By blessing them you are in turn blessing yourself. You are turning a negative feeling or situation around.

I once was in a situation where one of my co-workers was the most difficult person to get along with. No matter what I did or said this person was a complete thorn in my side. I decided one day to start blessing her in my prayers. (It did not happen over night) but, on a regular basis I would bless her and say her name out loud (when I was alone of course) and within 6 months of practicing this, she found a great job and moved on. She had been with our company for a long time and it seemed like she would be a permanent fixture there but, low and behold my blessings worked.

This has worked in many cases in my past. Whether they leave on their own or I got promoted but, the situation never remained the way it was by me "Blessing" them.

You can also bless your health and all areas of your life.

Our first reaction being human is to naturally curse something but, try blessing it and see what happens.

It surely can not hurt you and it surely can help you.

What is today all about ? It is about loving and sharing with one another. That is what everyday should be like. When you are kind and go out of your way for someone that you may know or not know it comes back to you in great ways. I think a little act of kindness goes along way. Like the old saying goes it is better to give and then receive but, remember if you give there is a law of attraction, it does come back to you maybe not in the same way you gave but, a totally new and better way that you did not expect.

Try doing something nice for a stranger and see the effects it can have on the Universe.

I remember reading and hearing on the news a few years ago. That someone started a positive trend by buying a cup of coffee for someone behind them a total stranger and guess what that person continued to do the same for the person behind them and so on and so on. It went on the entire day. Really amazing isn't it ? that a small gesture like that is contagious because most of us are good inside and want to do the right thing but, we all tend to get busy with our lives and do not have time to enjoy the small pleasures that life can bring.

I challenge my readers today to go out and do an act of kindness for a total stranger. It will not only make you feel good but, it will make the other person's day and they in turn will do good for someone else.

I had an encounter with an angel. Almost 2 years ago in July 2008 my husband left us, me and 4 small kids.I thought I was just going to die of a broken heart. On the 2nd night after he left, an angel came to visit me in my sleep. I sensed his presence in my house and I ran down to the basement crying where he was. I was distraught and he had a huge smile on his face and easnplaying with a few kids. I said "Why are you so happy don't you know what just happened?" and he smiled and said " You are going to be so happy". He was very tall and I was about up to his waist. He was in all white, but not glowing.very handsome too. I havnt hit that day where "I am so happy" but his visit is sometimes the only thing that makes me
not give up.

About 1 year ago i went thru a life altering expericence.I was told by family and friends that life would get better.Thats when an angel came into my life.Maybe sometimes angels dont have to be part of dreams or visions.

Is that a question you normally ask yourself when things are not going the way you expect ?

This is normal. Things do not always go our way no matter what. Life is ups and downs. But, the main thing is not to stay in the rut you are currently in but, to try and find something good in everything and make small changes that lead you into the positive direction you should be in.

I have not updated my blog in sometime, my life has been extremely busy working my outside job that has become very time consuming which I enjoyed in the beginning but, it has become more than I bargained for therefore I will be leaving my current job to pursue other goals and dreams I have always had.

A little voice inside my head told me it is time to move on and that is exactly what I am going to do. Do you hear that small voice sometimes in your head that tells you when something is wrong or changes you might need to make to improve your life ?
Please do not ignore this voice this is your inner self who knows better than anyone else what is good for you and what is the best for you.

Stop and listen to you little inner voice. If you get quiet and listen to that voice you might find the answer you are longing for.

A picture is worth a thousand words

Lets try picturing and visualizing things in our mind to get what we want.
If you constantly think of what you want by picturing it in your quiet times over and over , it will become reality one day. Some people picture something negative and negative does happen, some picture positive and positive happens.

What is that you want ?

A job promotion
Better health
A Soul mate
Better relationships

Whatever your need is you can accomplish what you want by picturing it and visualization the very thing you need or want. It may not come to you in the way that you might think. It will manifest itself to you when the timing is right.

Believe that you have received it and it shall be yours! Imagine that you already have the very most thing you want in life. Image it, think about it. Talk about it and it shall be yours in time! Good things do come to those who wait.

I can not stress enough how important this type of thinking is.

Ok here is an example.

I am sure you know of people who constantly talk about "lack" they have in their lifes instead of "what they already have".

God multiplies our good. Keep remaining in faith and doing the right thing in your heart! Always expect good things to happen and they will. Do NOT give away to the negative because it can become a downward spiral taking you deeper and deeper into nowhere.

Believe you me, I have done that and I rather be positive then the other way around!

And we all know as humans we all can be weak and go with what we know and what is comfortable. Think outside of the box and dare to be positive even though things may look grim.

There is always a silver lining under everything in life. We can always take something positive away from any situation, it is how you view things and make the BEST of a bad situation.

It has been a few days since I have posted anything on here. My apologies to my regular visitors that have needed some inspiration in their lives. I honestly try to post on here a few times a week but, as many of you know life can get busy.

I went to the Food Network (Metro cooking) show yesterday in Washington DC. Those of you that follow Food network might know some of the celebrities I am about to mention.

Giada from "Everyday Italian" is as sweet as can be. Just as you see her on TV she is exactly the same in person. I actually ran into her in the ladies bathroom after her show. She had a big smile and Hello to say to everyone.

I guess the point I am trying to make is we are all human and a smile and a kind gesture can go along way. How would you like to be remembered as someone that was a nice person to be around or someone that everyone wanted to avoid. Think about it. I have had friends who have met celebrities who thought they were no longer of this world and were not kind to their fans.

Don't you want to leave your friends,family and strangers with a positive nice impression of you or do you want to leave everyone a negative impression of you ?? The choices we make in life are ours.

When I write on my blog , I never have anything planned , I just go with the flow as things pop in my head I just write it down to share with everyone.

I am starting to see I am making some differences in peoples lives and that really makes me feel very warm and happy inside.
Some of the comments have been letting me know I am doing the right thing!

Some people are always searching for something more and do not even realize all that they have already. Look at your life and count all blessings big and small.

I will tell you a story about someone I know. This person is never satisfied and never happy with what they have. They constantly look for what is wrong with their life. Those type of people are dangerous to be around. When I say dangerous I mean they are negative people who can in time bring your positive side down.

I am sure many of you out there can relate to that, because I am sure you know someone just like what I described above.

Even when life is rocking along for them just fine. They have to find something negative to say about their situation, therefore their life never improves and stays in the rut they have created.

Remember stay in control and do not let that negative person in your life bring you down. Limit your involvement with this type of person. Personally I have family members like this and at times it is hard. But, I still strive do be the very best I can and so can you!

Get up daily with a positive attitude

You have to stop, look and listen, you may not think you have anything great going on in your life but, if you stop and look at all the blessings you have and not what you do not have. You will learn to appreciate your life even more.

My outlook on life for the most part is always positive. There is always something I am grateful for no matter what.

Be thankful for your health, be thankful for your family, be thankful for your job. There has to be something in your life that you can be thankful and grateful for. If you dwell on the good things, good things will multiply in your life. If you dwell on what you do not have , then that is exactly what you are gonna get "Nothing" so lets dwell on what you do have an what you can be thankful for , I dare you to even try this for a month and see what type of results you get. Staying Positive

How do you stay positive when things all around you look like doom and gloom.

Here is my technique. Replace the negative with something positive. You have to re-program your mind to think on happy and positive thoughts. If we automatically think negative change that negative into something good and positive. Pretty soon you will see changes in your life. Like the old saying is the glass half empty or is is half full ? Which person are you ?

C. Imaging what you want
D. Writing down your desires
E. Making your board with all your desires

1. Pick an affirmation that relates well to your situation.

2. Speak it out loud is affirming what you desire, do it through out the day or in your head if you do not have privacy.

3. Imaging what you desire constantly.(Kinda like day dreaming)

4. Making a list of all your hearts desires even if they seem lofty or way out there make that list. For example when I go to the grocery store I make a list of the things I need sometimes I end up getting everything on my list and sometimes I end up forgeting something or not getting that item because I felt I did not need it anymore. Making a list of the things you want help for things to manifest.
Make the list , date the list and put it away. Go back to it in a few months and see what has come to pass.

5. Take a poster board and cut out pictures from magazines of things you want. Put that picture board where you can see it daily. Whether it be a new house , better health, a new friend. You can have it all in due time. The key is staying positive and expecting the very best for yourself.

Is it more money , is it a new job , is it a partner or better health ?
Whatever you are longing for you can get it by visualizing exactly what you want.

It takes some time and practice but, during the quietness of the day or night close your eyes and envision the very thing you want. Play it over and over in your minds eye and pretty soon it will come to pass.

Always want something that will not harm anyone that is for your highest good.

If you do this along with positive affirmations , you will never go wrong but, get the thing you want the most.

Here are some affirmations that can help you.

1. For a better health
Envision yourself happy and healthy doing what you like to do the best.
Positive affirmation:
"I am in perfect health" I am free of all negative things, my body is whole and healthy"

2. For a better job
Envision the perfect job you are looking for. Interviewing getting the offer and accepting the offer. See yourself there playing it out.

Positive affirmation:
"I have the perfect job with perfect pay right now"

Those are just some examples of what you can do to change your life.

Positive Affirmations that really work

I have been using this positive affirmation for a month now. "Perfect Job with Perfect Pay" for where I am currently living. You see I moved from Ashburn, VA to Fairfax recently and wanted a job that is close to home, which I would NOT have to commute well it turns out I already have a perfect job with perfect pay right here where I am at now.

My current employers allow me to work from home and come in once a week to work and pick up additional work to take home.
Not only that the sister practice that is next door offered me work to do from home as well , so not only do I have one job but, two working from home. It can not get better than that.

So think to yourself what is your hearts desire. Concentrate on that and affirm to yourself daily and often and you will see results that will amaze you.

Have you ever been thinking of someone ie and old friend and all of a sudden they call you or you run into them somewhere. ?

That is not an accident or coincidence. Things happen for a reason everytime. If you stop and look at back at certain things that you thought was a coincidence may not have been at all, it was meant to be for some reason.

When things in life are truely your highest and meant to be there is no escaping it.

Dwell on the positive and the little things you can see and can not see.

You will be amazed how much it can change your outlook and view on life.

Well, I moved from Ashburn to Fairfax recently. Its been an adjustment but, not such a bad one. The entire move went completely smooth, you know its right when everything is aligned its meant to be.
When things are difficult don't fight it. You know its not the right timing. As far as my move. I left a part-time job in Ashburn, which I like. It had perfect hours and perfect pay for my current needs. I was going to resign but, when I told my boss I was moving about 45 minutes away with traffic, she asked me if I would consider working once a week there and taking some work home. I happily agreed. But, my only delemia is I want to have something close to where I currently live where I am able to go in at least 3-4 times a week. Well that is where my positive affirmations are kicking in. I am asking for "the perfect job" with perfect pay in my area. Stayed tuned.

Don't listen to the negative

Ok my story continues.........

Well after spending almost 4 years in Texas and doing pretty well financially. I begin to really do my positive affirmations by speaking them out loud, imaging the good I wanted and writing down everyone one of my desires big and small.

My husband got a great Job offer in Virginia. Virginia happens also to be my hometown where I grew up. All of my family were there at that time. My elderly parents and my siblings. Well needless to say I was excited and happy knowing that I was moving back home.

When I started my affirmations and positive thinking back in Texas it really paid off at that time I was dabbling in learning how to design websites and learning my way around the internet. I taught myself HTML and learned how to make websites.

Once we moved to Virginia and got settled, I began networking on the net and started to create income and it was not just ordinary income it was in the 10's of thousands a month. I still kept up my positive affirmations and all that I dreamt of was starting to come true.

Next Topic I would like to share and discuss is making a picture of the good you want in your life.

Take a poster board (any color any size you like) I always make my bright so it catches my attention.

Divide your board into sections such as (health, wealth and your dreams you want to come to pass)

Cut out pictures of the good you want. Lets say you want to take a trip somewhere special that you have never been before. Find a picture and cut it out and paste it on your board. Keep this board near you where you can look upon it daily and as soon as you subconsious mind can accept it , it will be yours. Always ask GOD for this or something better.

1. Positive Affirmations
2. Speaking what you want out loud
3. Imaging what you want
4. Writing down your desires
5. Making your board with all your desires

If you do this , sooner or later this or something better will come to pass.

ok now that we have covered speaking your affirmations out loud, writing your desires down on paper. We are going to talk about picturing your desires.

Think about what your biggest wish or desire is. Then start imaging the desire that you want to come true in your head.

For example. A friend of mine wanted a car but, at that time could not afford to buy one. She mentally started to picture herself driving a car , step by step getting into the car and driving it to work, driving it to the store and so on. She did this for a few months and one day her brother called and said he got a new car and asked her if she wanted his old one. She gladly accepted his gift.

When you mentally image the very thing you want , once your subconsious accepts it , it comes to pass.

There have been so many other things I could list that have come to pass from imaging but, it would take all day. Try it and see if it works for you.

In my last post I spoke of what wonderful things happend in my life by invoking positive affirmations daily. Its so simple to do yet so many of us out there just won't do it.

Okay so aside from thinking and speaking out loud positive affirmations. You can also write down your desires.

Make a list of all your dreams and TRUE desires on a piece of paper. Even if it seems far fetched...write it down anyway. At the end if making your list make sure you always Thank GOD for this or something better. Put your list away and don't share it with anyone.

The act of list making actually clears the way for your good to come to you. BE specific with what your heart truely wants , not what you think you should want or what someone else thinks you should want. Make sure its your true desire.

In the meantime continue with your positive thinking and see changes happening. Go back a year from now and see what has manifested on your list and what has not. You might be surprised what has come true on your list. Remember GOD wants the very best for us. So if something on your list did not come true the way you wanted , its probably was not for your BEST at this time.

I am going to break this blog into sections, day by day I will try and discuss one aspect of positive affirmations.

First off my story. I was living in California at the time. When I came upon a little bookstore in Carlsbad that sold metaphysical type of items , self help books etc. I picked up a particular book that caught my eye about Positive Affirmations. I bought it and took it home and started reading it. I started using the suggestions in the book about positively affirming daily on what good I wanted to see in my life. At that time I had two small children and my husband was getting out of the Military and needed to find a job.

So daily I began to Affirm that he had the "perfect job with perfect pay" I did this constantly throughout the day. In addition to this affirmation I also wanted us to be able to afford to buy our very first house. I also affirmed that we were living in a "Big beautiful home".

Well shortly thereafter we moved to Texas where he got a really good job with a big company. The salary was low but, the commissions were high. We were able to buy our very first house and if you ever been to Texas you know everything there is big and we got the home of our dreams at that time.

That is when I really knew my positive affirmations and thinking and expecting good things to happen, not only happend but, more than I dreamed of.

If I can make a difference in one person's life by them using some of my techniques I would be very happy. Knowing that person will pass along his or her knowledge on Positive Affirmations and help someone else grow.

That is my ultimate goal is to help everyone succeed and have their dreams come true.

I want to talk about being positive and positive affirmations that really work that can change your life from being mundane to exciting and getting everything you want , which is your GOD given right. The next few days I would like to hear input from anyone that wants to talk about a particular issue in their lives that they want to see turned around.
